Setting Class Prices

As an independent educator on Nbparents platform, you have full control over how you set your class prices. Pricing is an important part of your business as an education entrepreneur, and we encourage you to think carefully about how your rates reflect your expertise, the value of your classes, and your target audience.
1. The Importance of Thoughtful Pricing

  • Your pricing should balance the value of your instruction with what your target families are willing to pay.
  • Factors to consider include: your qualifications, class size, subject demand, lesson length, and whether your classes are one-on-one or group-based.
  • Remember: we do not set or control your pricing. You have full independence to decide what works best for you.

2. Offering Trial Classes
Trial classes are an effective way to attract new students. Parents and students often want to experience your teaching style before committing to a full course. We recommend:

  • Offering a free trial class to encourage parents to sign up.
  • Providing a discounted trial rate if you prefer not to give a free class.
  • Keeping trial lessons short and engaging to leave a strong first impression.

3. Using Discount Codes to Grow Your Classes
Our platform allows parents to enter discount codes during checkout. You can create and share these codes to grow your student base:

  • Free or discounted trial codes – let families test your classes with little or no cost.
  • Percentage-off codes – offer discounts for early sign-ups or special promotions.
  • Custom promotions – create codes for holidays, referrals, or events.

Please note: you are responsible for providing your discount codes to families. We do not generate codes on your behalf.
5. Building Long-Term Value

  • Competitive pricing helps you stand out, but don’t undervalue your expertise.
  • Use free or discounted trials as a way to build trust, not as a long-term pricing model.
  • Over time, adjust your pricing as you gain more experience, testimonials, and demand for your classes.

By setting clear, thoughtful pricing and offering trial opportunities, you can attract more students, build credibility, and grow your business as an education entrepreneur.
