VEX V5 Robotics Summer Camp 

1. Introduction to VEX V5 Robotics

• Overview of VEX V5 system and components

• Understanding robot parts: chassis, motors, sensors, controller

• Safety and basic tools usage

2. Robot Building & Mechanical Design

• Hands-on robot assembly

• Basic engineering concepts (stability, structure, drivetrains)

• Introduction to gears, torque, and motion

3. VEX V5 Programming

• Introduction to VEXcode V5 (block or text coding)

• Programming robot movement and controls

• Using sensors for feedback (distance, gyro, etc.)

• Testing and debugging programs

4. Driver Control & Autonomous Skills

• Remote control operation practice

• Basics of autonomous programming

• Combining driver control with automation

5. Robot Challenges & Practice
