Course Guidelines & Policies For Independent Contractor Educators

Note: By starting to teach, educators acknowledge that they have read and agree to the following guidelines and policies.
These guidelines are designed to help educators deliver high-quality courses, maintain smooth communication, and provide comprehensive records for students and parents. We do not intervene in teaching methods but may provide guidance and suggestions based on market research to improve service quality.

1. Course Platform & Teaching Requirements

Teaching Platform

  • All courses must be conducted through the company-designated platform: Google Classroom.

Class Recording

  • Educators are required to record each class in Google Classroom.

  • All classes are recorded for safety and quality assurance, allowing students, parents, and our team to review them if needed.

  • Teachers may review recordings to improve their classes.

  • Uploading recordings and attendance records helps confirm course completion and ensures timely payment.

  • Videos are encrypted and securely stored on Google Classroom for 90 days; after 90 days, they are deleted unless otherwise specified in our Terms of Service.

  • Some teachers may share recordings with enrolled families, but access is at the teacher’s discretion.

  • We highly value student and teacher privacy. No class recordings or personally identifiable information will be shared with entities outside of Nbparents for marketing or other purposes without explicit consent. In cases involving child privacy, Nbparents Trust & Safety may delete videos.

2. Course Management & Teaching Process

Lesson Planning

  • Educators should follow the lesson plan to ensure students understand course content and achieve learning objectives.

Uploading Course Materials

  • Important board work from each class can be captured and uploaded to the corresponding Google Classroom.

  • Teachers may voluntarily share additional helpful materials (PDFs, Word documents, relevant websites, etc.) for student review.

Lesson Feedback

  • After each class, teachers may submit a Lesson Feedback Form via Google Classroom to help parents understand their child’s progress and facilitate positive communication.

Homework Assignment & Review

  • At the beginning of the next class, teachers should:

    1. Check homework completion;

    2. Provide comments and guidance;

    3. Continue with new lesson content.

Course Extensions & Student Showcases

    2. English News courses: News reporting videos;

    3. Spanish courses: Song performance videos.

  • Benefits:

    2. Recognize outstanding students;

    3. Motivate students and enhance engagement.

Course Updates
