Class Recordings

Video Recordings of Live Online Classes

All Nbparents educators record live classes through Google Classroom/Google Meet to ensure safety and quality. Please note that all Nbparents classes are recorded so that learners, parents, and our team can review them if necessary.

By enrolling in any class offered on Nbparents, you acknowledge and agree to the recording of classes.

Class recordings are used solely for lesson review, quality assurance, and, when appropriate, sharing with enrolled learners.

Recordings are created through Google Classroom and stored in compliance with Google Classroom / Google Workspace for Education’s storage and security policies. All recordings are permanently deleted after 90 days unless otherwise specified in our Terms of Service.

  1.  Viewing Class Recordings

Educators may review class recordings via Google to improve their teaching. Some (but not all) educators may share recordings with families through the Google Classroom platform.

Enrollment in a class does not guarantee access to recordings, as sharing is at the sole discretion of each educator.

If a recording has been shared, it will appear on the classroom page. By purchasing and attending a class, parents agree not to share the recording with anyone.

To access a recording, the learner must have attended the live class session. Families must attend a live session within 90 days to maintain access to the recording.

Parents may record or take pictures of their own learner’s participation but must not record or share the faces, names, or personal information of other learners. Any violations should be reported to the Nbparents team at support@nbparents.com

Nbparents reserves the right to take appropriate measures, including restricting class participation, revoking access to class recordings, or suspending accounts, for any violations.

Nbparents is not responsible for any legal consequences resulting from parents’ private recording, screenshotting, or distribution of class content; parents assume full legal responsibility.

Nbparents uses recordings to provide teaching feedback to educators, offer customer support, and meet compliance requirements. We take the privacy of learners and educators seriously. Recordings are retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted. In certain cases involving child privacy concerns, Nbparents may remove recordings earlier and restrict access.

  1. Attending Classes Without Video

Although keeping the camera off may limit interaction with the educator and other learners during class, parents have the right to choose not to show their learner’s face. You may turn off the camera before entering the classroom. If you do not turn off the camera, it will be considered as consent to include your learner’s image in the class recording.
